‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: Comic-Con scoop; Charlie Hunnam makes video appearance
The interesting thing about the annual “Sons of Anarchy” panel at Comic-Con is mostly the mere fact that you never quite know just what you are going to get from it. At one point, the entire crowd gave Kurt Sutter a standing ovation while he started to get very emotional; then, less than 15 minutes later a guy dressed like Winnie the Pooh tries to have a threesome with Katey Sagal and Theo Rossi. Just another day at the office.
First of all, Charlie Hunnam was not in attendance for the panel. This was the original plan, though there were rumors at one point about that changing. He did film a silly little video package that was odd, given that it featured Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, and Tommy Flanagan … who were all actually at the panel. Charlie’s other big appearance came in video form, as the preview shown at the event featured Jax basically raising all kinds of hell behind bars.
It turns out that Sutter promising a new “guest star” announcement was just him messing with people online, and instead, most of the conversation was geared around the constant presence of death on this show. There were many questions surrounding that, and we’re starting to wonder whether or not fans are getting so caught up in the “shock” moments that they are missing out on much of the journey.
This panel was largely a mixture of all sorts of emotions, and also a few little scoops about how Gemma is going to be more complicated than ever this season, and how we could see more skin from Chibs than we have to date.
