‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: One episode title (but not the premiere)
How is this for an interesting twist in the episode title department? It’s not often that you get a chance to have the title for the second episode of the season before the premiere, but that is precisely what we have here when it comes to “NCIS.”
Based on when we found out that episode 12×02 was entitled “Kill the Messenger,” we wonder either if the show is filming out of order (that does happen sometimes), or if there is something in the premiere title that is being kept a secret for now. There’s not a whole lot else that can be said for now, save for some of the other information that is out there:
- The show is introducing a new Big Bad this season that will be around for at least a handful of episodes.
- Tony’s story is going to expand in a big way, and that includes him getting a new love interest for the first time since Ziva’s decision to not return back to Washington with him.
- You can look ahead now to some more character stories, including a Ducky flashback episode, something about Bishop’s husband, and more of Gibbs’ past.
- At least one major crossover with the “New Orleans” spin-off that brings a different group of people there compared to who was present the first time around.
The premiere date for the new “NCIS” season is Tuesday, September 22, and you have to believe that we’re going to be getting more news related to the show before that. The show still is hiding many secrets right now, and we can’t blame them given how early it is in production.
