‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4 video: Check out another teaser promo!

It really is an embarrassment of riches right now when it comes to “Hell on Wheels” promos being released, even if none of them are particularly revealing when it comes to the story ahead.

You can see the latest one below. It’s entitled “Gates,” it’s exciting … and it’s also only about 15 seconds long. That is hardly enough time to really do anything that effective from a promotional point of view, beyond just remind you that August 2 is the day that the show is coming back, and that Anson Mount stars as Cullen Bohannon. That’s really where the drama ends.

But don’t worry, since we do expect that there will be something released that is a little more substantial when we get closer to the August 2 premiere. The show most-likely just wants to keep its best stuff close to vest for now, since we are still over two weeks away from it coming back and you want the hype to crescendo upward. As you get closer to the premiere, maybe some more of those ultra-specific sneak peeks will come out then.

For Cullen, what we’d remind you of right now is that his big challenge this coming season is going to be trying to balance out family life and also trying to continue the work that he has already put into motion (sometimes literally). There’s also still going to be that matter of The Swede that has to be taken care of eventually, and you know that he is not going to leave this world without a fight.
