‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 4 video: Lucy Hale’s Aria gets VERY paranoid
There are many curious things about the sneak peek below from Tuesday’s “Pretty Little Liars,” and it starts and ends with the Aria character. We definitely feel for her given the situation. She feels watched at every turn thanks to the headlines surrounding Ali’s return, and that has to make her feel somewhat like a zoo animal.
However, it goes way beyond that. She also has to deal with the emotional trauma that remains from the death of Shana, and that is what she is worried about most. She feels in the video that Mona must know something about what happened to her, and that is the reason for the latest round of torment. Lucy Hale plays paranoid well, and Troian Bellisario manages to actually make the phrase “take a psychological selfie” sound somewhat normal. It’s still anyone’s guess how in the world she did that.
Is Aria out of the woods yet when it comes to Shana? Hardly. These sort of threads are open on this show for a reason, and eventually someone is going to start answering questions when they realize that another person from Rosewood is found dead around the same time that Jessica DiLaurentis passed away. The interesting part of this equation will be who finds Shana, and what they choose to do with the information.
As for one other issue we have, why is nobody actually eating their lunch? We remember from our days in high school that you’re really only given around half an hour or so to eat, and that’s not a lot of time … especially if you are getting your lunch from the cafeteria and have to stand in line.
