‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 19 preview: ‘Cold Case,’ and Gabe’s next move
On Monday night’s new episode of “Beauty and the Beast,” we had the opportunity to witness many things … including a pretty shocking character transformation. How did Gabe become the bad guy again? He somehow went in the blink of an eye from a humble and helpful guy to someone out to destroy everything that Cat and Vincent have.
As a matter of fact, the preview video below makes him out to be some sort of mustache-twirling villain bent on trying to destroy the two of them, even Cat, in a completely devastating fashion.
In addition to the video, the synopsis from The CW features the return of Cat’s sister, and also some more trouble for both Cat and Tess on the force:
“Cat’s (Kristin Kreuk) sister Heather (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) drops by for a surprise visit at the worst possible time, just as Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) suspends Cat and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) from the squad in an effort to force Vincent (Jay Ryan) out of hiding.”
When we first read this, we were obviously hoping that it meant that maybe Gabe was pulling some sort of double-agent act to help all parties involved. However, we now know this to be completely untrue.
Also, a quick ratings update: The show slid down this week to a 0.3 in the 18-49 demographic, which is close to what it was averaging during most of the season. Granted, there is not at least any real reason to worry about the immediate future now, but that is something to think about down the road when you combine this with the numbers for the third season.

I’m sorry everyone but Gabe and Cat should be together. I know Vincent is hot and it goes with the story line to have Vincent and Cat together but lets be honest. Vincent cheated on Cat at least twice while they were together and he really isn’t good for her. In fact because of him she has put her career and life in jeopardy multiple times. Plus what’s wrong with going against the norm and having Gabe with Cat. He is not only the better choice but he is also loyal and would do anything for her. Lastly what is the lesson supposed to be there? Love someone no matter how poorly they treat you? Sorry but I really hope she ends up with Gabe.

Ideally Gabe locked up so he can’t keep causing problems for Vincent. His hatred and resentment towards Vincent for been a beast is hilarious coming from him. Suddenly he’s all about right and wrong, Vincent is a criminal for killing Windsor bla bla.. How about when he tried to kill Vincent last year? The carriage driver he killed?
Last week’s episode was fantastic and I loved it. Cannot wait for Monday to watch Cold Case!!!!
Love love this show:)
