‘Bones’ season 10: David Boreanaz talks more intensity, drama, and guest stars

Take a look -Bones” has been a lengthy journey for one of its stars in David Boreanaz, who has been playing this part now of Agent Seeley Booth now for a decade. Within that time the show has had around a million different timeslots, and also stories, villains, and other events taking place during it.

So where in the world do things go from here? In addition to a number of great highlights (including directing the finale), this is something that David Boreanaz talks extensively about in a new video interview below with GoldDerby. While he uses some of the same familiar spoiler lingo (hence the “wait and see”) comment, he also anticipates things continuing to stay just as dark and dramatic as they were near the end of the season when Booth was arrested while in the hospital and Brennan was also detained. We have to believe that this is one of the biggest cliffhangers that the show has ever left us with, and based on what we have heard already about the story next season, we are not going to be picking up in a place where everything is better.

Boreanaz also gave a very thoughtful answer when asked who one of his dream guest stars is: Charles Grodin, a character actor who has appeared in everything from “The Michael J. Fox Show” to “Louie” to a chorus of classic movies starting up in the late 1950s. It certainly feels possible that we could eventually see him turn up as some sort of relative from Booth’s past, or another character that he and Brennan have to contend with. Let us know who you think he could play in the comments!

The new season of “Bones” likely starts in September, and we’ll have more updates until then. Also, be sure to sign up today if you do want to grab more good stuff via our official CarterMatt Newsletter.
