‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Gabe makes a big move
Is Gabe good or evil on “Beauty and the Beast,” or somewhere in between? All season long, this has been an understandable question as the character has been extremely nice to Cat and Vincent despite Cat smashing his heart into pieces.
We wonder, though, if he is really up to good after the facial reaction he had to the news that Vincent was going away. Was that sinister, or a pretty natural reaction from a guy to the thought of a potential rival going away? We think it’s the latter for now, but that could easily change as some time passes. We’ll ultimately find out before the end of the season, and the focus this time is on the upcoming episode “Cold Case,” airing a week from Monday. There are many events that are taking place here (including the return of Cat’s sister), but we cannot help the major focus of our attention being what Gabe decides to do in order to flush Vincent out. Take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Cat’s (Kristin Kreuk) sister Heather (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) drops by for a surprise visit at the worst possible time, just as Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) suspends Cat and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) from the squad in an effort to force Vincent (Jay Ryan) out of hiding.”
By the end of this episode, maybe we’ll have some further information, but if nothing else, let’s hope for some great entertainment! The show needs to establish a bigger adversary, as well, and maybe this will be the hour where that is revealed.

The emotionless characterization, the cringy love scenes, the good guy or bad guy isn’t working. Trying to turn him into an action hero or anti-hero after two seasons of being a wimp is laughable.

Gabe was a little TOO NICE, in my opinion, therefore not believable as a nice guy. No real person is like that without some hidden agenda. What guy would still be NICE, after he learns that his girlfriend slept with the ex and still be so amicable, hummm none. He’d make abetter villain

I really believe that Gabe has served his purpose. Going back and forth between good and bad is boring. Enough of the gamut of Gabe so time to just make a decision and get rid of him. He can’t die again and be reborn so as much as I love Sendhill as am actor his time on BatB is up, IMO

Gabe needs to find something else to do beside causing VinCat headache. Just needs to go far far far away. Fed up of him.
Apart from that, I absolutely loved episode 17, it was everything I had hoped it would be abd more.
Can’t wait for Monday epi18 Cat & Mouse!!!

Gabe needs to die in a big way!!!! His necessity on the show is so over…it’s getting old watching him continually try to win Cat and causing havoc!!

He is going to be a vindictive sore loser who will eventually get to understand that VinCat are the endgame …..sowwy Gabe. As much as I dislike Gabe’s character, you have to admit he is giving us something to talk about. I can hardly wait to see how this plays out! Impatient in fact.

If he is the eventual bad guy it has been a long extremely boring ride.

Gabe should just die…He was annoying in season 1 and completely useless in season 2. He’s way too girly to be a romantic interest, is completely unbelievable as a good guy..and can’t even do a bad guy well this season…We need a fresh villain with talent
