‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5 spoilers: Will Jane’s ‘pregnancy’ really be a story?
You may have heard a few things already about some stories that are going to play out on “Rizzoli & Isles” season 5, but one that has not at least been discussed yet around CarterMatt is the issue of Jane’s pregnancy.
First of all, we should start off by answering whether or not she actually is pregnant … and the answer to that is yes! This was not just something to get you interested in season 5 only to go away. Speaking to TV Guide about what is going to come next for this, executive producer Jan Nash had the following to say:
“Jane is still figuring out how to handle this. But she’s definitely pregnant. We didn’t want to throw that out there and not go through with it. Will she keep [the baby]? That’s a different question.”
So the simple thing to remember here is that this is going to be a story that plays out over a long span of time, and is not going to be anything that is resolved right away. That is a good thing ultimately when you are dealing with something of this nature, and it should be interesting to see how it unfolds and how everyone starts to learn what is going on with her.
Luckily, you are not going to be waiting too much longer for the series to return, given that Tuesday, June 17 really is not that far away now. As we told you recently, the second episode of the season is going to be the emotional tribute for Lee Thompson Young, who tragically took his own life.
What do you think will be coming up this season from this pregnancy story? Of course, we want to hear what you think below, and be sure to also visit this link to get some further news and updates from us via our CarterMatt Newsletter.

I love, love, love this show, Every character is absolutely perfect for the part they play ….. from the very beginning to the end of season four. What a terrible shame about LTY. R.I.P young man. I know you will be missed by so many! You were a pleasure to watch.
As for Jane and the baby issue, gosh I hope she keeps it and I really hope we see more of her “Casey”. If not then maybe Martinez? Now that would be interesting. Two very strong characters pitting against.. and vying for each other?? Pure Combustion!!

What a great loss. But what people don’t understand is that bipolar is a real disease and most of us keep it inside because of we are usually put into a category as being” NUTS” or “CRAZY”. God Bless you and may you R.I.P. You will be missed!!!!!

This show has gone downhill since season 2 and the pregnancy is finally the kick I need to stop watching. I’m sure Jan Nash will do a better job than Tamaro did the last couple seasons but my interest in these characters was killed by the awful writing of season 4.
