‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Perception’ alum to recur

With “Hell on Wheels” season 4 already in production, this is the time that we start to get some more casting updates. While we may not get to learn every detail in advance, it’s nice to at least find out who is joining Anson Mount and company up in Calgary to ensure that the new season is as incredible as ever.

This time around, Deadline reports that Jonathan Scarfe (“Raising the Bar,” a recent gig on “Perception”) is going to recur heavily throughout the fourth season as Sydney Snow. There is not too much known about the character just yet, but he is an old friend of Mount’s Cullen Bohannon from his days in the war, and this history is something that is going to be explored throughout the season. The same goes for this character’s habit of getting into troublesome situations and having to find a way out of them.

Right now on the show, it is Bohannon who is certainly in a tough place as he tries hard to figure out where in the world he is going to go now. He is stuck in a community with his new wife and child, where he is in some ways at the mercy of the Swede. There are some possible ways to escape without harming too many people, but he has to figure out the right ways to execute them. Luckily, we’re dealing with a guy here who is rather resourceful, and should be able to figure out ways to pull this off.
