‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 8 spoilers: Pedro Pascal promises satisfaction
Have you ever heard of a satisfaction guarantee when it comes to a TV show? While we’re not quite sure that Pedro Pascal is promising that when it comes to Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” episode, he is doing his best to let you know that “The Mountain and the Viper” will be pretty darn great.
The showdown in the title alone is something worth looking forward to, and in a chat with Today Online he says that those who love the way the sequence plays out in the books should be very happy with how all of these sequences play out:
“I would say that fans of the books who are fans of the show have never been dissatisfied over any of the major events and I can assure you they will not be disappointed for this one … [This scene was] one of the most exciting in my life. We were shooting outside, it’s a pretty large battle and we all wanted to get it right. Nobody got hurt. There were no injuries sustained. There was no heat exhaustion. Everyone was working really hard together and having a great time.”
If this was another show, then we would say that a Oberyn victory here would be basically inevitable. However, this is “Game of Thrones” we’re talking about here! Nobody on this show is safe, even someone who is as likable of a guy as Oberyn. Killing him would be somewhat sudden given that we are just getting to know him, but this certainly would make the state for Tyrion Lannister all the more dramatic.
