ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 debate: Who should be the new Big Bad?
“Revenge” has quite a complicated web of lies and deceit, and we’re going to be seeing that play out worse than ever when the fourth season premieres on ABC.
But who should we really be afraid of? That is the question that is at the center of this article. There was a surprising return in the finale in David Clarke, and we have to find out just where he fits in the world now. Is he a hero, a villain, a friend to Emily, or something else? We at least want to know why he has not been even remotely interested in spending time with his daughter after all of this time.
The focus of this article ultimately does just revolve around the question of who could be the ideal Big Bad on the show next season, and we like to think that we have a few good possibilities lined up.
Victoria Grayson – Obviously, she is the person who has been the Queen Bee from the very beginning, and if she finds a way to get out of prison, she will be even worse than she ever was before. But, could she actually be redeemed if we end up spending more time with her?
Conrad Grayson – Is he really dead, or just bleeding out? That’s a very big distinction, but if he finds a way to survive with the knowledge that David is out there, it certainly is not good for anyone.
David Clarke – Maybe he is not the innocent man we once thought. You have to be up to some pretty crazy stuff if you are not willing to let anyone know that you are still alive.
Emily Thorne – Let’s entertain the possibility here of the hero suddenly becoming portrayed as a villain. If we were Emily VanCamp, we’d love to push for this.
Someone new – There are always new faces popping up in the Hamptons, and this could be an opportunity to introduce someone fierce.
Who do you think could be the primary villain on “Revenge” season 4? Share some of your thoughts below, and head over here to grab some more news pertaining to the show. For some other great stuff sent right to your email, just be sure to sign up now for our CarterMatt Newsletter.

I’m sad that Aiden is dead! That was terrible, shocking, but terrible. Can’t imagine what the writers have planned for Season 4! This show is great! Fantastic stars and supporting actors, a joy to catch the episodes every week! Thanks Revenge cast for all of the good work! Who will be the next “bad guy”? Not sure, but I hope the writers have a good idea. Maybe a new character?

OKAY! so i just watched the finale and WOW ! What a twist right?! SO how ironic that all the “heros” (Nolan, Emily, and Jack) seem to be wrapped up in some not so heroic situations. Nolan buddied up with his new partner to take Daniel down and well the way he went about it might not turn out so great for Nolan. I see trouble in the future with this new partnership; not what he was expecting. Nolan : advice, there is no better of two evils! Jack seems to be mangled in a web too with the kidnapping situation! not a good look jack! how are you gonna get yourself out of this one?! And Emily… she paid the price with loosing Aiden. It seems revenge and “Karma” are a never ending cycle here in this show. You dont Ever get away with anything. And eye for an eye will just keep going until all of them are dead . Now it seems they all have their own little revenge quests!
David Clarke is definitely going to come back with some bad news. I guarantee he is not the man you think he is. it would be too obvious if he was a good man.He mapped this out. He let his daughter go through with the revenge for a reason. You don’t think he was watching her keeping tabs on her. He Knows very well what he is doing. He is going to come back in the next season stir things up and EMILY is going to go against her own father. her disgust with his betrayal will be immense , and she might have to take him down too!
Conrad is NOT dead. NO WAY he is a key player in this game and and we are finally gonna get to see him and david Clarke have it out; which we have all been waiting for!! Now Nolan….. Who will be the better of these 2 evils?
We all Heard VICTORIA when she said to emily at the grave that David Was not the man she thought he was.

I really hope David Clarke is not the new antagonist; David stabbing Conrad (the man who wrecked his life and robbed decades from him) is one thing, but making him evil is another.

If it goes true to form Daniel will be the next Conrad and probably join the initiative. Father and Daughter may be re-united but it may not all be sweet. Emily/ Amanda and Jack will get back together jack will be framed for something for sure with Daniel behind it probably have a kid with Margaux. Emily’s / Amanda’s kid will end up with out a dad .. Emily will end up in a hospitial … Jack will go to jail …it will start over

Yeah, because whiny ass fans like you wanted him dead! Same deal with Declan and Fauxmanda everyone whines “Kel em auf! Soe Usewess! Dey wuined da shoe!” and when the writers cater to your demands you whine that the character was killed off. It’s fans like you that ruin a show. Learn where the off button on your TV is, stop watching a show you hate, and SHUT UP!

Cute. You think you are being sarcastic when you are telling the truth about my intelligence. XD
Yeah, I know how fanbases work: constant lack of satisfaction. When the writers cater to your satisfaction, all you do is complain about something else or say “plot hole” or some other junk. If I wasn’t siding with the facts, you would have given me an intelligent argument; instead you can’t even tell my gender. I have a life to live. Goodbye.

Shut up and mind your own business, Bob, you broken condom baby. Go watch SpongeBob since that’s more in your intelligence range.
You’re the idiot, not me.

no they shouldn’t make Emily the bad person, that would just ruin it especially for her relationship with both Jack and Nolan. They are both trying to save her.
