‘Bones’ season 9 finale spoilers: Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz on shockers

Tonight, the end will be here for “Bones” season 9, and we could have what is one of the most dramatic hours of the show in quite a long time. The video below from Fox seems to suggest all of that and then some.

In this clip, Bones and Booth have some of the biggest conflict that they’ve faced as a couple, and it could all lead to the scenes of Brennan rushing to see her husband at the hospital that you’ve seen in the promo. While we feel confident that he’ll make it out of this alive, there are some other questions in here that still need to be asked … including if it is possible for him to be hit with a fate that is actually worse than death.

David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel each also speak out in this video, and one of the most interesting questions in her to us is how the show manages to reinvent itself in this episode. It looks slightly more courtroom-based, and takes on issues and challenges that the show has never explored before. To us, that is what makes it excited, in addition to of course whatever cliffhanger comes next.

“Bones” returns next season on a night that the show should be rather familiar with already: Thursdays. Then again, “Bones” has probably become familiar with almost every night on the entire schedule. It also holds the honor of being one of the few that did so well on Fridays that the network decided to put it somewhere else rather than keep it in that spot.
