‘Bones’ season 9 finale spoilers: The bigger mystery with David Boreanaz’s Booth

“Bones” has delivered quite a few surprising season finales before, so it should not come as much of a surprise that the one airing on Fox Monday night is no exception to the rule. This is going to deliver quite a few shocks to your system, and one of them you’ve already seen: Booth mysteriously in the hospital after suffering some sort of gunshot wound.

What are we supposed to take from this? That is a worthy subject of debate, and there is also another interesting question that needs to be asked: How did this happen? According to TV Guide, the most interesting question related to this story right now could very well be what some of the circumstances were the led to the hospital visits.

There is also one other cryptic tease in here: Is there a fate worse than death? Then that is something that Booth has to be afraid of in this episode. What could that precisely be? If we were to guess, then we would think along the lines of either a new job that could take him away from the people that he loves, or being captured by someone. The two things that Booth tends to pride himself on above all else are his family and his job, and if you took these two things away, he would be one miserable man.

Luckily, we will find out answers to almost everything soon, and they will ultimately carry over into the next season of the show … which may or may not be its last.
