‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 spoilers: Kat Graham on big shockers in finale

When “The Vampire Diaries” season 5 comes to a close later this month, it’s going to do so in a way that probably feels very much like “The Vampire Diaries.” By this, we mostly mean that it is going to be extremely dramatic, there will be plenty of shocking moments, and by the time the season comes to a close, you will be waiting eagerly already for the next one to start.

Judging from what series star Kat Graham has now said, it’s certainly possible that not everyone is going to be pleased with every aspect of what happens … at least from the standpoint of crazy things happening to beloved characters. Speaking all about this to E! News, she had the following to say:

“Everyone’s going to be up in arms. We’ve had some pretty big season finales, but I would definitely have to say this is definitely one of the biggest we’ve had … When aren’t there big deaths? It’s what happens with them that matters.”

Who is on the chopping block right now? It would be absolutely insane if any of the big three actors (Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley) end up dying, just like it would be insane if the show lost Graham after it looked last year like she was going to the other side for good. We’ve already heard about Matt getting a new romance next season, so we also have to rule him out. If we were a viewer, we’d be most worried about some of the recurring characters (Enzo dying again, Liv, or some more associated with the Traveler story), and it’s possible someone could cross over and find their way back again.
