NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 finale spoilers: Miles, Charlie take on the Patriots
When “Revolution” airs its season finale on May 21, there is one word that we can give you now when it comes to what to expect: Chaos, and plenty of it. The war between the Patriots and our main characters will be going at full tilt, Neville will be getting his killer on, and Aaron and Rachel will be teaming up with one goal in mind.
Fittingly, this episode is entitled “Declaration of Independence,” and we full-on expect all sorts of shockers to come within the hour. For some basic details now concerning what you can expect, take a look at the synopsis below:
“Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.”
Does this sound intriguing? For this show, the best thing that it can do is reasonably resolve the story, and then leave open a few little threads here and there for what could be a third season. While it’s likely the show gets canceled, at least there is something to sit around and debate in the future. We’re typically a fan of the open ending, at least so long as it’s not something so nebulous no one will be able to figure it out.

Nonobytes start self-destructing and destroy the Patriots. The lights come back on. Humanity reboots, and we don’t have to watch this dreadfully disappointing show any more.
