ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 21 preview: Who will be Castle’s best man?

Given that every “Castle” episode as of late has included at least a few little glimpses here and there of wedding planning, it should not come as too major of a surprise at all that the latest from Monday’s “Law & Boarder” continues to be on that subject.

Specifically, the sneak peek video below seems to revolve around the question of who is going to be the best person to be the best man, and then the best person to be the maid of honor for the big day. When it comes to the latter, it shouldn’t be a surprise at all that Lanie is going to get the position. She’s one of the only friends of Beckett to be featured on the show as of late, and she seems very excited to take on the role.

As for the best man job, that one’s a little more hilarious. You have two candidates in Ryan and Esposito, after all, who seem to be pretty firmly convinced that they want to make this into a competition like “The Bachelor” to figure out who is the person that Castle would much rather have with him at the altar. Can you really choose between the two? We don’t know if you can, since they’d both be fun choices in their own right.

Personally, we could see there being one of two possible cop-out solutions to having to make a decision: Either you just make them co-best men and they share the honors between the two of them, or Castle goes the sweet route and decides instead that he would rather have Alexis in the role. It’s going to be hard for anyone to hate him if he does that.
