‘The Tomorrow People’ finale spoilers: One heck of a teaser
Even though it may still be a little while before the finale for “The Tomorrow People” airs, we do at least have some more updates now on just what could take place during it … and ultimately seems like there’ll be quite a bit. If this show doesn’t make it through renewal / cancellation season … it is going to go out with as big of a gut-punch as you can possible imagine.
For more teasers on this very subject, we turn to what executive producer Phil Klemmer had to say recently in a new TVLine interview. Let’s just say that it is a doozy and then some:
“Someone will die. Someone will be stuck in limbo. The entire world might be ending or might not. [Robbie Amell] will be shirtless [and] will kick some very, very serious a**. Someone will lose his or her powers. A couple that we’ve never seen be intimate will become intimate. Someone will possibly lose their memory…. they’ll be turned into, like, a grotesque automaton version of their former selves.”
Sound like fun? To us, it basically sounds like an entire season of a CW show within the span of a single hour. This all does make a strong case for a second season to tie all this stuff up, but the show is going to remain very much on the bubble alongside “The Carrie Diaries,” “Star-Crossed,” “The 100,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and also “Hart of Dixie.” Of these shows, we believe that at least one of them (and maybe two) will come back; however, the rest will probably forced to pack up and go home.
