‘Person of Interest’ season 3 spoilers: The finale title is…

The latest -

Person of Interest” has had quite a crazy run for itself so far this season. We have seen the death of major characters, crazy standalone episodes, and gotten all sorts of great opportunities to get to know the character of Root a little bit better. This can also be said when it comes to the origin of the Machine, and there is going to be so much more of this moving forward.

So what we have for you today is a little nugget of something awesome for most fans to look forward to: The title for the upcoming season 3 finale. What is it? In a post on Twitter, writer / co-executive producer Amanda Segel said that “Deus Ex Machina” is the name for this incredibly big installment.

Obviously, this title is incredibly important to anyone who knows the history of those words and the connotations that go along with them, but just to go back to the roots (obvious pun intended), the phrase comes from the Latin for “god from the machine.” If that is not somewhat chilling when it comes to the power that this Machine has over Finch, Reese, and so many of the other characters, we don’t quite know what is.

There are still a few more episodes of the series to go until we get to the point in which the finale airs, and thanks to that, we’ll just have to wait and see just what the show has up its sleeve. Hopefully, it is another surprise that will make this conclusion to season 3 all the more epic.
