ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: ‘The Fluffer,’ and new Kerry Washington scoop

Sometimes, work at the White House can be a little bit overwhelming, When you are a woman like Olivia Pope and you devote so much time to trying to fix problems all over Washington DC, it can be a little difficult to also monitor the situation with Fitz / be his lover at the same time.

Maybe this is why Kerry Washington’s character is hoping to get by with a little help from her friends on an upcoming “Scandal” season 3 episode entitled “The Fluffer.” Want to read some more news about who particularly is lending a helping hand? Then just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“Abby steps in as Olivia’s proxy and takes on duties at the White House. Meanwhile, the team continues to investigate B613, and someone throws a wrench in Reston’s presidential campaign.”

First of all, we question somewhat the title for this episode. “The Fluffer” sounds like the nae of a peanut-butter-and-marshmallow sandwich  that you would get at some sort of hipster dive in Brooklyn. Also, it is a term from the “New Girl” universe that Nick Miller used to describe getting all of the baggage of a relationship without any of the perks.

This synopsis is probably intentionally vague just so that there is not anything substantial teased about any of these stories. The way “Scandal” lives and dies is off of these big shockers that constantly pop up episode to episode, so there may be a reason for Abby to step into the equation that we are no quite aware of right now.
