ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 18 preview: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion defend ‘ninja attack’

Monday night’s “Castle” episode “The Way of the Ninja” may be many things, but we expect “hilarious” to be at somewhere near the top of the list. This is an episode that, above anything else, promises to bring a heavy dose of funny to the proceedings. After all, you have Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic getting the opportunity to play Castle and Beckett dealing with a suspected ninja attack.

More than likely, you have already seen the sneak-peek video that features this attack happening … but that is not the end of the story just yet. In this brand-new sneak peek below, you can see the two having to try and defend themselves to Captain Gates that they really did have a valuable piece of evidence stolen. Was it by a ninja? Maybe. It’s either that or, in the words of Beckett, someone wearing a dark tracksuit, a hood, and really wanting people to think that they actually are a defining member of some sort of secret ninja clan.

The victim in this case, we learn, is a young woman who moved to America from Japan in order to try and find a career for herself in the ballet, and on the surface, she had no major enemies who would want her dead.

This episode is the first of a few coming up that could be either entertaining or enlightening when it comes to some of our favorite characters. The only unfortunate thing is that 6×21 seems to be the first episode coming up that could actually touch on some of the major stories that we have seen teased as of late, whether you are talking about the Castle – Beckett wedding, Senator Bracken, 3XK, or something else entirely.
