‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: When does Andi Dorfman’s season start filming?
For everyone wanting to get some of the first information about Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette,” let’s start here by sharing some basic (but exciting) news: The show is filming as we speak!
Tonight is the first night for all of the guys in the mansion, which means that the limousines are arriving and all of the men are making their cheesy pitches to try to be the right guy for the assistant district attorney from Atlanta. There will probably be early standouts, and there will probably be a couple of people who the producers beg her to keep because they are very entertaining.
In case you’re wondering about some first-night “Bachelor” trivia, here’s what we got for you.
1. Sometimes filming for this goes on until the wee hours of the morning, which is why you can sometimes see the sun rising when the women are leaving the house.
2. Why do so many people get tipsy? Think of it this way. There is alcohol at your disposal, not nearly enough food to balance it out, and you’re tired / nervous about being a part of the show. None of this mixes well.
3. Most of the introductions are approved in advance, mostly because production wants to ensure that everyone has their own unique thing. If all of the guys give Andi the same present or do a backflip, then the show is boring.
4. The driveway is always shiny because they water it down in advance. It’s a little prettier that way than just some plain-old driveway.
5. Sometimes at the Rose Ceremony, you have something that is filmed in multiple takes. While it would be nice if everyone remembered names, it’s hard when you’re meeting dozens of people in one night.
