‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5, episode 15 review: Who died in ‘Gone Girl’?
When you think about it for the minute, Thursday night’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” entitled “Gone Girl” really should have been titled “Gone Girls” instead. After all, there were a pair of characters who more or less passed away … and it was poetic.
After being a part of the show for so long, Katherine appeared to be finally gone from this world. Not only this, but so is Nadia. In her closing minutes, Katherine tried to give her the last bit of respect that she looked for over the course of centuries, and thanks to this, she may have been able to cross over at peace. (In turn, this caused another painful experience for Bonnie.)
With Katherine’s exit, it is fair to say that the world of “The Vampire Diaries” is going to change … and pretty dramatically. Were there still some moments in here where we thought that Katherine was going to somehow raise from the grave again? Definitely. This is a woman that has somehow found a way to live through almost everything, including the loss of her own body in the 100th episode.
Katherine didn’t even die in the same way that most of the other characters on the show have; Bonnie couldn’t help her cross over in the same way that she helped out many others who crossed, so who knows? Maybe she finds a way to live on in that void she flew into and haunt the rest of the characters forever in their dreams. But, we feel like this was the time for the show to move forward; there wasn’t anything left to do with Katherine, and at least they figured out a way to have her leave with a bang. Not too shabby, no? Grade: B.

Well… actually we still do not know who Nadia’s father was… I believe he was a traveler, but can we just talk about her exit. WHERE DID SHE GO??
Did she go where she is suppose to be completely alone since she always put herself before everyone else?
