ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Who will join Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic in ’70’s’ episode?

“Castle” has gone to some pretty strange places over the years, whether it be the world of late-night talk shows, a sci-fi convention, or even a place where people can supposedly unlock some sort of mysterious telekinetic potential.

With all this, it only makes sense that the show would find a way eventually to figure out how to go back in time. We’ve told you before about an episode coming up with the title of “That 70’s Show” that is going to feature that particular decade prominently, and we also know one important character that Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s Castle and Beckett are going to be interacting with.

According to a new report from E! News, the series is currently casting the role of Harold Metzger, who is a likable, funny guy and was also next in line for a powerful 1970’s crime boss by the name of Vince Lamotta. It’s nice to see a different sort of gangster character represented on the show, especially since we have all heard and seen the stereotypes time and time again about most of them just being angry, dark, and quick to kill someone.

This is the 20th episode of the season, and will likely not air until either April or May. There are some other pressing cases ahead, including one that will throw Beckett right into the center of a lot of action.
