‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: More fire for the Captain Swan shippers
“Once Upon a Time’s” March 9 return “New York City Serenade” is going to be a big episode for so many reasons. This is the start of effectively a new story, and also an opportunity to see if Emma Swan can finally get back to Storybrooke after living what she thinks is a normal life for herself in New York City.
But what else could be in the works here? Think along the lines of more drama featuring Captain Hook! Anyone who loves the famed pirate is probably going to love this episode, since it will mostly feature him trying to convince Jennifer Morrison’s character by any means to give in to some of his hopes that she will remember where she came from … and maybe decide to be with him in the process.
While we cannot give too much away from this episode, E! News reports that Hook will in some ways be quite the charmer during this story. As a matter of fact, there are a number of great moments out there for all of your Captain Swan shippers to make you wish even more than these two characters were together. What makes this so interesting is that it has the producers in what is both a good and bad situation. The good part of having Hook and Emma with chemistry is that it has people rooting for them to get together; however, at the same time the bad part of it is that it potentially means that at some point, fans of either Captain Swan or Neal / Emma are going to be disappointed when she chooses the other person. The only thing that can be somewhat hoped for here thanks to that is that the show finds a way to give the other party who was left in the dust some sort of happy ending.

No words for how much I have come to love Hook’s character – I love how the show always showed that he’s a man with a code, even in the early days. It’s so easy to understand him and to admire him for all his sincerity and vulnerability when it comes to those he loves. The writers did an AMAZING job on him, and in true Once Upon A Time fashion, Hook is a flawed, uniquely human character you can’t help but love.
The story between Hook and Emma has been handled so beautifully, with such wonderful build-up – I cannot help but root for them with all my heart. Hook’s love for her is very sincere, unconditinal and selfless, and if anyone can make Emma’s walls crumble, it’s him.
I’m rooting for all of them to get their happy ending but I’m fairly certain that Emma’s and Hook’s lies with each other.

She’d better end up with Hook. I swear to god, she’d better;) I’m not normally ‘aggressive’ when it comes to this ship, but I’m getting desperate, she clearly has feelings for him and Hook freaking WORSHIPS the ground she walks on, willing to give up anything and everything for her. That heartbroken look when she was leaving, broke MY heart </3 I wish they'd both stop denying their feelings (not so much Hook, he's not afraid to tell her how he feels) and just get together already! Neal and Emma aren't meant to be, it's in the past and he hurt her, sure he's Henry's Dad but he's not Emma's love, he deserves a happy ending with someone else like Tink or Wendy (if she were older…)
