‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 13 video: Alex, Jo, grief, and proposals

Was Alex trying to propose to Jo at the end of “Grey’s Anatomy” this past fall? The answer to that appears to be yes, but there is no doubting that he did not exactly handle it in the right way when the episode first aired. Rather than trying to make it into something that was sweet and romantic, it was almost reactionary following all of the garbage with his father. It was a way to cling onto something when he did not exactly have a whole lot else to cling on to.

As the new video below shows, Alex reasserts to Jo that he was in fact proposing, and we learn something about her in the process: She is not exactly ready to tie the knot. That is not meant to be any slight against Justin Chambers’ character, but more of a reaction to just the way that she feels.

Just in case dealing with this entire conversation was not bad enough for the character, there is also a moment at the very end of it that could end up making you very sad. Let’s just say that it involves shattered glass, but don’t worry: This is not a case of Shonda Rhimes deciding to kill off one of her characters. We think that the party affected is going to pull through.
