‘American Idol XIII’ spoilers: New photos of Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry in action

You already know that “American Idol” has brought on board Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry to be mentors to the contestants during a workshop that takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday night, but now we have some of the first official photos of the two parties in action.

Adam is pictured here with Caleb Johnson, and seems to almost be given him some sort of hand gesture about harnessing some of that vocal power. There’s really no better person to give Caleb advice, given that both of them have rock leanings and big voices with a huge range. What Caleb needs to work on the most is his performance style, and that is something Adam is an expert at.

Unfortunately, Daughtry is not giving us the same sort of expressive hand gestures at all during this photo with Jessica Meuse, and thanks to that, we’re only left to speculate about what is running through his mind. Maybe he’s fascinated by her pink hair; or, maybe he just really wishes he had hair. Once again, though, this is a case of someone who seems perfect for the artist they are mentoring, given that Daughtry went into the show, like with Jessica, as a struggling musician who was hoping to find a way to not have to continue living that same life.

Even though neither Adam nor Chris won their seasons, the immense amount of success that they have each had after the fact shows just how much value you can put into hard work and dedication. These guys have had huge careers, and that is because they put in the world and didn’t just rest on their laurels because of this show.
