‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Is Kyle Richards still worried about a ‘hex’?
Is the producers of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” realized that casting someone who identifies as a Wiccan was going to cause as much drama as Carlton Gebbia has, we imagine that they probably would have tried their hardest to bring her on board years ago. This woman has stirred the pot repeatedly, and has also succeeded in doing something that is extremely rare when it comes to this show: Finding a way to get people freaking out even when she is not even present to do so.
Before we do anything else, let’s start this article with sharing the full synopsis from Monday night’s episode:
“Kyle and Joyce decide not to invite Carlton on their Puerto Rico trip, especially after Kyle reveals how she received strange, spooky words on her computer screen saver. Brandi tries to avoid Lisa at Gigi’s glamorous going-away party. Kyle mistakenly reveals to the group that Joyce’s father has died and Joyce feels betrayed.”
Now, let’s turn to that “screen saver” issue once again, and try to figure out just what in the world is really going on here. In the video below, Kyle shares with Joyce a series of screengrabs of what this screen saver in her kitchen apparently says, and it is a series of what appear to be random words. Maybe this is some sort of bizarre spell, but it almost feels like someone was just filling out a game of Mad Libs and throwing them onto a screen.
In reality, there are so many different people that could have changed this up that it’s hard to even identify all of the suspects in it; it’s very unlike that it is Carlton at all. Nonetheless, there is little denying that her presence on the show has created at times more than just tension; it’s also created fear, and even at times for people like Kyle, who claim that they do not even really believe in magic.
