ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Stana Katic’s Beckett, and undercover case, and trouble

Though we’ve seen “Castle” take on a variety of interesting subjects so far this season already, one thing that they have not quite breached is figuring out whether or not they are going to take on an episode that really brings Beckett down into some sort of dark, underground organization. Everyone loves an undercover mission, right?

Well, the interesting thing about the one that we are going to be seeing a little bit later this season is that it feels in some ways like it is going to be one part a search for identity, and another part trying to keep yourself from being killed. Suffice it to say that Stana Katic’s character has her work cut out for her. Speaking about the plot to TV Guide, here are a few other little teasers of what Beckett is going to be specifically going through during this story:

“Beckett thinks she’s pretending to be one person, but discovers that [the criminals] think that she’s somebody else completely … She has to navigate those waters and figure out who she’s supposed to be, and any misstep could get her killed.”

What may be even more interesting to some of you are the other little wrinkles that are associated with this case; namely, that there may be some other people involved here that have something to do with her mother’s murder. Is that a guarantee that Jack Coleman is returning as Bracken? Not necessarily, but her getting involved in that world again is a nice suggestion that we will be seeing some more of these characters in the future.
