‘New Girl’ season 3 spoilers: ‘White Collar,’ ‘True Detective’ actress in as…

While you may not have seen too much of Alexandra Daddario yet on “True Detective,” you should still be pretty happy to hear the news that she has scored yet another big role on another popular show right now: “New Girl.”

As for who Daddario is going to be playing moving forward, the details there are still somewhat sketchy. All TVLine, who first reported the news of the casting, would say is that she is going to be one of two female roommates that are moving into the same building currently occupied by Winston, Nick, Jess, Schmidt, and Coach. As you would expect when you have this sort of situation, hormones are going to run completely amok here.

Is there something else that is going to come out of this appearance? That is something that still remains to be seen, but we really hope that there is something a little bit more interesting that comes out of this. As a matter of fact,  we’ll be happy with anything that is not just a replication of what we just saw on this past episode. Really, there needs to be something that keeps the guys from just being “bros”.

“New Girl” still has a nice little handful of episodes to go this season, and it will continue to rock out in the Tuesdays-at-9:00 p.m. time slot. The one thing that we are mostly interested in seeing right now is whether or not having “Glee” as a lead-in a little later this month is going to change anything for the show.
