‘The Bachelor’: Nikki Ferrell in the crosshairs for one Juan Pablo Galavis castoff
Before you watch tonight’s new episode of “The Bachelor,” which features Nikki Ferrell having a one-on-one date with our leading man in Juan Pablo Galavis, now feels like as good of a time as any to ask a pretty pressing question: Why is it that so many people in the house right now don’t like her? She is not malicious in the same way that Courtney Robertson was, or even isolating like Tierra LiCausi.
So what is it? Basically, it just seems to be that Nikki is a tad overdramatic, and tends to be the pessimistic to such an extent that it started to anger a good many of the women. This is at least according to the recently-eliminated contestant Elise Mosca, who had the following to say about her time with her during a conference call with reporters recently:
“Nikki and I got along, but we’re different people. Her sarcasm is extremely negative, and I don’t handle myself that way. She saw the worst in every experience, complaining about the date, complaining about the hotel room. Losing my mother, I have been through the worst, so to say that a group date is the worst moment of her life was very hurtful to me.”
Knowing the way that this experience can work, Nikki probably made many of her complaints about the experience off-camera, which is why so many of them were not used. It is around this time when what you say can be heavily scrutinized by contestants, who are all so much more aware that when you don’t have someone documenting every little thing that you do or say, it can be a whole lot more difficult to hide your true colors. (With all of this being said, we do still have Nikki ranked very high on the season to be the winner of the show.)
