‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Juan Pablo Galavis reacts to Clare Crawley situation
Is Juan Pablo Galavis a little bit too cold when it comes to how he handles some of the situations regarding his women on “The Bachelor“? That is certainly up for debate at the moment, based both on what he is saying in interviews, and also what he says on the show. But, at the same time, the man also has a point when it comes with how big of a right the contestants have to be upset about him spending time with some of the other women.
If this was real life, it would be beyond fair for Clare Crawley (who had a bit of a meltdown at the pool party) and some of the others to be beyond furious about what is going on. But, this is “The Bachelor” mansion. This is a place where these sort of shenanigans happen on a regular basis, and every single woman knows this before entering the mansion. The delicate balance is just all about trying to be respectful of everyone while engaging in the sort of romantic tomfoolery that should get you slapped in any other environment. (We’d call it sexist, but the Bachelorette is allowed to do the same thing on her season.)
Speaking about all this to TV Guide, Juan Pablo had the following to say, and also admitted that there are going to be moments where more feelings are probably going to be hurt:
“I’m very clear with all of them. They know what they’re getting into. It’s something I can’t control. I try to be as fair as possible and get to know them as much as I can, but in this situation, there is going to be hurt. Clare had the lucky first one-on-one date, and she now has to wait.”
The basic way that we take this? That things are only going to get much more when it comes to this sort of drama here on out. Click here if you want to see some more scoop about the rest of “The Bachelor” this season, and sign up now to get some updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter!
