‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Naya Rivera teases ‘shocker’ for Santana, Brittany

Have you been missing out on all things “Brittana” on “Glee” over the past few months? It’s understandable if you feel like you have, mostly because Brittany has spent a good time away. In the context of the show, Brittany made the decision to go to school at MIT after being offered some sort of insanely great scholarship. However, in real life Heather Morris was pregnant with her first child.

While it is not entirely clear just yet what sort of scenes Heather is going to be filming, we do know that she’ll be working with Naya Rivera. Want some more evidence? Naya posted on Twitter that there is going to be some sort of “Brittana shocker” coming up.

What are some big possibilities there? It’s possible that Brittany does something to disappear from the show further, or on the flip side, maybe Morris is establishing herself as a more permanent fixture on the show the rest of the season. Given that the focus that is going to be put on New York City the rest of the spring, there is room for some other cast members to join the show.

By the end of this episode, perhaps we would have an opportunity to find out a little bit more about who is actually going to be on the show the rest of the way, and who will be relegated more to just guest spots. At the moment, we feel like Darren Criss (Blaine), Chord Overstreet (Sam), and Kevin McHale (Artie) are the three favorites to join the gang currently in the Big Apple.
