‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Who gets shot? (video)

“Hawaii Five-0” was clearly going for the drama when they created their latest promo for next week’s new episode; as a matter of fact, we’re not quite sure that they could have made this any more dramatic had they been working overtime to do so.

In the promo (which you can see below), we get the bold promise that “a hero will fall” in a way that resembles a big-time movie trailer. At the very end, we also see a bullet fired into one of the show’s cast members. Does this mean that death is upon us? Not necessarily, but it means that there may be some very difficult decisions that need to be made very quickly if everything is going to be sorted out in time.

Before you do anything else here, take a look at the full synopsis for this episode:

“As Catherine’s seemingly harmless surveillance job takes a deadly turn, Adam considers making the ultimate sacrifice to save Kono.”

Typically, we admit that this is not the time of the year that we see twists and turns this dramatic play out on a scripted TV show. More often than not, the people making them opt to keep things a little bit more on the straight and narrow, that way they do not run into some of the problems where a sweeps period rolls around, and they suddenly do not having else to tell. Luckily, we don’t imagine that this is going to happen here. These people constantly have stories to tell, and we’re going to see some more of that play out moving forward into the sweeps and beyond into early next year.
