‘Big Brother 16’ debate: Should Amanda Zuckerman, Andy Herren return next year?

The latest -Let’s start this article by saying that CBS has not announced what the plans are going to be just yet for “Big Brother 16,” and even though they are getting out some details soon in regards to casting, that is no guarantee of newbies at all. The network could come together and say that they want an all-star season, and to be honest this would not surprise us.

But could any of the houseguests from this season make the quick jump back into the game? Based on the public reaction this time, we would be surprised to see most of them back. Even Andy Herren, while a great player and a deserving winner, is not someone that we really need to see again. His comments were not racist, but he was not particularly well-liked, nor was he an entertaining or particularly huge presence on the show.

What we want to see next year for an All-Stars 2 is something that has a combination of great players and big personalities, that way you constantly feel like there will be a great finale no matter what happens, and you will never get bored. We’ve composed such a list below, but our caveat is that this is all based on personal wants / hopes. We already know that Dan Gheesling doesn’t want to play again, and that it’s unlikely that Daniele Donato would want to play with her dad in the house. This is just what we think would make for a great season next year with a similar sort of cast to the original all-stars.

Daniele Donato – Really blossomed into her own during season 13. Had she kept her big move to herself for a couple more weeks, she could have even emerged as the winner of that season.

Evel Dick Donato – Daniele doesn’t have to work with him, so maybe the family strife wouldn’t be a problem. But doesn’t everyone want to see him really get a shot to play again after a personal emergency took him out of season 13?

Frank Eudy – We loved Frank the Tank just for his entertainment value, and what is interesting about having a cast with no Boogie but Dr. Will is seeing if they would keep Chilltown alive.

Dan GheeslingDan Gheesling – It’s mostly out of principle, since he’s one of our all-time favorites. But we aren’t sure he would do as well in another season unless he aligned with Dr. Will, and they minimized their targets.

Jessie Godderz – Partially for the entertainment, but viewers tend to forget how great of a position he was in on season 11 before America / production blew up his whole game and sent him home.

Matt Hoffman – Matt and Daniele have a lot in common, and they’re each people we’ve been hoping to see play again ever since their last stint on the show ended.

Dr. Will Kirby – Will really doesn’t need to play again given that he has such a happy, successful life now, but wouldn’t it be a blast if he did?

Eddie McGee – This is mostly just our inner season 1 fan speaking here. There’s just such an interesting dynamic behind watching someone come back over a decade after their first stint, and seeing what they do in a completely different game. He’s crazy charismatic, women love him and he’s a strong physical player. He could easily win again.

Shelly Moore – We really just want to see Shelly and Jeff in the same house again more than we want to see anything else, just to see if she’s brave enough to evict him again.

Janelle Pierzina – Is Janelle’s story over? We just don’t like the idea of her last game being one where she flamed out and was sent home before the jury. Doesn’t really sit well in our mind.

Rachel Reilly – One of the biggest female characters ever, and the funny thing here is that we think Rachel could do really well again. with these sort of people in the game, who would target her first?

The latest -Elissa Slater – If you want to complain about Elissa and Rachel having an advantage here, evict them. It’s as simple as that, since they are not going to alternate Head of Household wins all season.

Danielle Reyes – One of the best players to never win, and really one of the pre-All Stars 1 players that deserves a third chance. We wish there were more female strategists like her in the game now.

Jeff Schroeder – America will demand it. But, we don’t see him winning. He’d last for a few weeks to absorb attention and then be sent packing.

Jun Song – We’ve always been interested in seeing Jun play again, and what could be fun here is that she really played a version of Andy’s game even before he did.

Amanda Zuckerman – Hate her or really hate her, she kept things interesting in the house. Putting her in a place with this many other egos would be chaos, and it would therefore be wonderful to watch. Heck, just leaving her and Rachel in the house would be wonderful to watch.
