‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ season 5: Carolino Manzo lands ‘Manzo’d with Children’ pilot

Good news for Caroline Manzo: She may have just been handed her ticket to getting out of the mess that is “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Sources have confirmed that the reality star, who has been on Bravo for five years alongside the likes of Teresa Giudice and company, has landed a spin-off pilot currently known as none other than “Manzo’d with Children.” We first of all really like the name, even if it is obviously a rip-off of a property that is already out there. We also love that the focus here would be on Caroline and her surrounding family, and not necessarily the mob of people that we typically see on “The Real Housewives” franchise.

Caroline is one of the few people on this show who has remained largely unchanged since the very beginning of the series, and seems to have the same exact set of priorities to what she had so long ago when the series first started up. Therefore, it is hard to be anything other than overjoyed at the thought of her possibly getting out of this mess. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has turned almost into a circus at this point, as it has become increasingly clear that Teresa and Melissa Gorga are in particular going to keep rehashing the same stuff over and over again to cause drama, and the show never changes. Let’s at least have a real sort of family reality show, right? Focusing on the fun can be okay; just look at how well “Duck Dynasty” is doing.
