‘Under the Dome’ finale spoilers: A longer look at ‘Curtains,’ and the suffering ahead

The end is very, very near for “Under the Dome.” Monday night’s new episode is appropriate entitled “Curtains,” and it marks the last time in which we are going to see some of these mysteries unfold before the CBS drama hides under its own veil of secrecy for season 2.

The promo below promises you is that there is going to be a super-dramatic episode coming up tomorrow night, and one that could leave your jaw hanging on the floor as the various residents of Chester’s Mill start to think that the Apocalypse has arrived. Judging from what is in the video, we can’t really blame them for feeling this way. Their only hope may come via four young people, a mini-dome, and a power that no one really seems to fully understand just yet.

As for what we know for sure you will not see in this episode, the entire mystery of the dome will not be resolved. The second season is not going to undergo a title change to “People Who Were Under the Dome,” and while there may be some more knowledge out there about this mysterious structure, there will still be mysteries both old and new associated with the structure.

While Barbie has clearly had a difficult past couple of weeks, Big Jim could be facing a world of hurt if anyone figures out his secrets. We just cannot imagine that the reign of terror that he has over some of these people is going to be everlasting.
