NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers; Charlie just wants to have fun…
Finally, some “Revolution” scoop on a subject that we know a good many people out there have been waiting to see for quite a long time: A new side of Charlie.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Tracy Spiridakos’ character is going to be seen very early on this season doing something very different than what we saw her doing during the first season: Getting hot and heavy with a guy at a bar. Could there be an alternative motive here? It’s possible, since she’s such a driven person who tries to do just about everything within her power to make sure that she gets exactly what she wants. However, at the same time we kind of hope that this is something random and innocent, and not a part of a larger puzzle.
While we had many criticisms of the Charlie character, some of the ones that were front and center for us were that she did not act even remotely like someone her age, and it was also not exactly clear sometimes just how old she was. Supposedly Charlie was 20, but her actions sometimes alternated between about 15 and 30. Hopefully, giving her chances to have some more fun should make the character more likable … which is pretty imperative if they want to keep viewers around this year in a timeslot that is not directly after “The Voice.” (“Revolution” this year will premiere on Wednesday, September 26 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, and will actually kick off NBC’s night.)
