‘The Originals’ spoilers: New photos of Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, and more

With “The Originals” series premiere on Thursday, October 3 vastly approaching, why not celebrate with a few more photos from the show? We have a few shots of some of the main characters now (via Zap2It) that feature many of the main characters front and center … starting of course with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). It’s interesting in a way to look at these images and realize just how far we have really come, given that it was only a couple of years ago when Klaus first arrived on the scene, and we never imagined that we could be rooting for him to do anything, let alone get his own show.

What will be interesting to uncover on this series is how the bonds between these three siblings, who are all very different, change when they are away from the temptations of Mystic Falls. You have a very serious man in Elijah, the wicked Klaus, and then the girl who has often longed to be human again in Rebekah.

Then, you have some of the new characters. We find the following description from executive producer Julie Plec to the website to be very interesting, mostly since it confirms that Cami (attached here) is not just going to become Elena 2.0 on this show:

“She’s the Matt of the show. Cami, because she studies psychology, can understand the behavior of people and really believes that there’s no true evil. For her to be a psychological mirror to Marcel and Klaus, they’re both going to find her very interesting.”

Granted, she is not going to have the full picture for at least a little while, given that she is currently unaware of the supernatural presence that exists in the town.

Meanwhile, Plec also teases that Marcel and Rebekah have a little bit of a history themselves, and this will be revealed come the second episode of the show, when she arrives from “The Vampire Diaries.” Don’t expect the character to arrive quietly by any means: There is going to be a great deal of drama that comes along with her, and that should be fun.
