‘The Newsroom’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will McAvoy runs, a decision awaits (video)
As “Election Night” comes to a close on next week’s finale of “The Newsroom,” there are plenty of questions that come with it. Who will survive the end of the night with not only their job, but their reputation intact? While dealing with Operation Genoa is bad enough, documents coming around the bend in the Jerry Dantana lawsuit could make them all look even more foolish than they do already for their mistake. Who wouldn’t want to try and get out of Dodge to avoid this?
Mackenzie knows already that her job is in jeopardy, and something during the rest of the coverage causes Will to completely freak out. We want to think that it could be the fear of losing her, but that is just the romantic in us. We don’t quite know if forgiveness is front and center on Will’s mind right now.
Want to read more about this episode in addition to watching the promo? The following is the official synopsis courtesy of HBO themselves:
“Will and Charlie await a decision from Reese; Sloan learns the identity of the winning bidder for her book; Neal seeks Hallie’s help in giving Mac a parting gift; Jim tries to make peace with Lisa; Will has a revelation.”
Given that we already know that there is a season 3, there may be a little less to worry about in regards to the overall future of the show. Instead, just worry about your favorite character.
