‘So You Think You Can Dance’ top 6: Alex Wong, Melanie Moore among All-Stars performing

While nothing quite compares to the actual routines on “So You Think You Can Dance,” we do take a great deal of enjoyment out of seeing who some of the all-star performers are going to be every week on the show leading up to the next round at this stage of the game. We imagine that every dancer left will do two routines, and one grouping of them will include the following six people.

Aaron Turner, Paul Karimiryan, Fik-Shun, Jasmine Harper, Amy Yakima, and Hayley Erbert will compete this coming week with such pros as season 8 champ Melanie Moore, fan favorite Alex Wong, season 9 alum / “Dancing with the Stars” troupe member Whitney Carson, season 4 winner Joshua Allen, season 3’s Neil Haskell, and season 6’s Kathryn McCormick. A pretty nice grouping of people, no?

Also, be prepared to see the return of “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson to the panel, which is always nice since we know that he is not only a good judge, but an entertainer to go along with the more technically-proficient Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy. It’s a nice mixture of people to oversee what is the first week of the show where the judges decide nothing. The top two guys and girls based on America’s vote will advance to the finals, and the judges are ultimately not going to have anything to do with it at all.
