‘Parks and Recreation’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Billy on the Street’ star in as…
As depressed as we are about the thought of losing both Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones from “Parks and Recreation” at the end of this season, there is still little denying the awesomeness that is the news that we have to share now.
According to a report from TVLine, Billy Eichner, from Fuse’s hilarious comedy show “Billy on the Street” (which we are completely obsessed with), will guest-star in several episodes as the Eagleton version of Retta’s character Donna. This Pawnee vs. Eagleton battle is going to be a focus of several episodes, however series boss Mike Schur also hints that the two cities could at times be forced to work together during this story in order to achieve some common goals.
You likely heard already that Kristen Bell is going to be playing the Eagleton version of Leslie Knope, whereas Sam Elliott will take on the Ron Swanson role. Schur is still looking to find the perfect person to play the town’s version of April, and he is staying coy for the time being about who could take on the part of Tom.
Eichner’s an inspired casting choice for this part, mostly because he is not the sort of person that you would think of immediately to be playing the Eagleton version of Retta. There’s almost a part of us now hoping that Debra Messing gets cast to play the doppelganger part of one of the other characters, mostly so that we can just see the video below reprised a good hundred times so we can lose ourselves in silly laughter.
What do you think about this casting? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts below!

This is why I think these 2 actors might be leaving. Waaaaaaay too many guest stars when we don’t get enough of the regular characters as it is. I was worried before I heard the news of losing 2 regular cast members when I’ve read all the guest stars this season. Then they get the Emmy nods!
I’d leave too and go be guest stars on other shows. Rob Lowe already is on Californication. Or be a returning character on P&R which is pretty much what they are.
