ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Who will Nathan Fillion be working with next?

In some past “Castle” season 6 articles, we’ve talked about there being a new detective named Grant “Sully” Sullivan who is going to be around for several episodes. He will be affiliated with the NYPD, so you have to imagine that the likes of Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas, and some of the other actors on the show will be spending some time with him on set. Is he a replacement for Stana Katic’s Beckett on the force? It’s probably not a good idea to make this sort of assumption just yet.

Sources have confirmed that Joshua Bitton, known for some roles on “Private Practice” and also “Justified,” has landed a role that will first feature him in the third episode of the upcoming season of “Castle”. As for just how long he will be around, this probably depends a great deal on what we are going to see for Beckett on the show. If she comes back to New York (if she ever leaves New York at all), there could be fewer spots on the force.

While we’re not going to spoil any of the big events that have been set up in last season’s finale, it is still easy to say this: Based on the information that is out there when it comes to the guest stars, we are going to see a very different sort of assortment of people around early this season than we’ve been used to previously.
