‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Jenna returns for Emily’s birthday

Tonight on “Pretty Little Liars,” we had one of the stranger episodes of the season in “The Guilty Girl’s Handbook,” an attempt by Hanna to clear her mother’s name for a crime that she didn’t commit by pinning the killing on herself instead. However, the surprise that came from the very end was seeing that it was actually Mona of all people who suddenly decided to confess to the murder, even though we also doubt she was involved in the death.

Well, we’re about get a full-on dose of crazy courtesy of the new episode next week. The great news? It’s Emily’s birthday! The bad news? Her party is going to be ruined by some not-so-welcome guests, who will cause mayhem and also question everything that she has learned about “A” and Red Coat so far.

“Paige throws Emily a surprise birthday party with even more surprising guests – Jenna and Shana. But it’s “A’s” actions at the party that lead to the biggest shock of all. Mona’s selfless act provides Hanna and her mother with their first bit of good news, but sends Mona down a familiar path. And Ezra gets some distressing news from Maggie regarding her and Malcolm.”

“Meanwhile, Aria and Jake (Ryan Guzman) continue trying to define their confusing relationship. And Emily meets with a world class coach in a last ditch effort to salvage her swimming career.”

Yep, there could be some good news for Aria / Ezra fans mixed in here…
