The Rookie season 8 episode 15 promo: The next documentary
Thanks to the promo that we saw last night on ABC, there is one thing that is certain regarding The Rookie season 8 episode 15 — we are getting once more into a documentary.
Are these installments polarizing among the fan base? 100%, especially since they do not always further along the long-term story arcs all that much. Personally, we’d dislike them more if they were in a 13-episode show rather than one that is currently giving us 18 stories a year. There is plenty of time to see other stuff play out, and we can understand why from a production standpoint, it is refreshing to play around with form a little bit and showcase something different.

If you head over to the link here you can see the new promo for this The Rookie episode, plus also get a good sense of some of the creepy stuff that is likely coming along the way. We’re eventually going to be seeing bizarre rituals and even a murder cult — how much insight can Nolan and others even have on all of this? That remains to be seen.
On the other side of this story, though, remember that there are still a few more remaining on the season. In theory, that is still more than enough time to dive into a lot of other stuff, and also have a story arc that could both build all the way to the finale and possibly another season even beyond that. We imagine that a handful of other details are going to be coming out about this in the relatively near future.
In the interim, just be prepared for something a little bit creepy from the show you know so well…
