Daredevil: Born Again season 3 spoilers: Major new additions

We know that there is major pressure on Daredevil: Born Again season 3 to up the ante from what we have seen so far. So what are they looking to do here?

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, it appears as though we are being set up for a proper Defenders reunion over the course of next season. Not only are we going to be seeing Krysten Ritter back once more as Jessica Jones, but then also Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Iron Fist. Seeing Ritter again to us felt like a near-certainty given the character’s popularity; meanwhile, Colter himself had expressed interest in coming back. The bigger surprise is seeing more of Danny Rand, largely given the polarizing nature of the Iron Fist series back when it was originally released.

Now, our hope here is that all of this nostalgia does contribute to a pretty awesome story for Matt Murdock, something that really just accents the good stuff we are seeing so far in season 2. The story so far has been a real expression of Fisk’s power and the lengths he will go to take Daredevil down. Season 1 proved to be great, but we would argue that what we are getting so far is a significant step up. We just have to cross our fingers now and hope that the trend continues.

There is no exact information out there yet about when season 3 of Born Again will air. For the time being, our hope is to see it within the first half of 2027.
