House of Villains season 3 episode 9 preview: After the tie vote…

As we get prepared to see House of Villains season 3 episode 9 on Peacock next week, there is obviously a cliffhanger we need answers to! Who is going to go home between Christine Quinn and Tom Sandoval?

Obviously, at this point it is clear that the producers are dragging out this decision like nobody’s business, but we also get it. For starters, this show is insane and it feels like everyone makes it up as they go along. Also, this is the first tie vote in the history of the show and it is now up to Kate Chastain to figure out what she wants to do here.

What makes the most sense for her? Really, that answer feels relatively obvious: Get rid of Sandoval. He is always going to be closer to Tyson than you, and you’ve been talking about wanting to split these two up for a rather long time now. Keeping them together feels like more of a long-term liability.

We do recognize the logic behind booting Christine is rather simple: She hasn’t made any enemies in the game. Because of that, there is an argument that you can keep someone in Tom who is a far more polarizing figure. We get the idea here but at the same time, has Christine done enough within the game to earn the prize? (Of course, you can also argue the same here about Tom, someone whose game has largely consisted of doing whatever he can to defend Tyson.)

Based on where things stand right now, we do still feel like Tyson is the biggest threat remaining in the game. Sure, he’s also the biggest target, but this is someone who has shown he can win challenges, and really does not have any issue dealing with pressure.
