Gen V season 3 renewal: An April 2026 update

Is there any chance at all that we will hear something more about Gen V season 3 between now and the end of April?

Obviously, at this point we have reached a particularly strange time when it comes to the spin-off to The Boys, one where we are really just left to sit back and wonder how in the world we have not heard anything more at all regarding the future yet. This is a high-profile franchise and based on what the creative team has said, there is still a desire to do more. Yet, both actors and producers are working on other projects right now, and Prime Video has yet to say one way or another if the show is coming back.

There are a couple of ways that you can look at the current state of things regarding this show. One obvious one is to sit back and say that Gen V is canceled and the powers-that-be do not want to do anything to tamper the hype around the fifth and final season of the flagship show. However, another thought may be that they want to bring the show back, but are waiting to do so until after season 5 airs, fearing any spoiler ramifications that go along with it. We know that the spin-off will have at least some role in The Boys coming up, though it may not be a huge one since the two series also exist on their own.

The last thing that we will say here is simple: We have grown really invested to people like Marie, Emma, and Jordan. The last thing that we would want at this point would be for them all to disappear off into the ether before they got a great opportunity to shine.
