Lioness season 3 premiere date: An April 2026 update
At some point between now and the end of the month, are we going to be getting a Lioness season 3 premiere date reveal? What about more insight on what is ahead in general?
When it comes to the current state of things for the Zoe Saldana – Nicole Kidman series, the first thing that we can say is rather simple: Production has already wrapped. Because of all this, we do tend to think that we’ve reached the point where editing is happening behind the scenes. It is far too early for the series to come back now, but could it arrive this summer? Ultimately, we would be shocked if that doesn’t happen.

The important thing to remember in the long-term here is that Paramount+ does most likely want some breakout hits for their summer window, and few fit that bill quite like Lioness. It is from an established producer in Taylor Sheridan and with one of his new efforts coming in The Dutton Ranch next month, there could be a need for something big on the other side.
As for what the season 3 story is going to look like…
We do not think there is going to be some sort of huge change from what we’ve seen in the past. The Lioness program will continue to be huge to the story, as will Joe trying to handle crises the moment that they come. There could be some new faces but above all else, it is our sentiment that you are going to be seeing a lot of action and drama. This show may be more intense than any other within the Sheridan catalog, and we do not want to see that change anytime soon.
