Outlander season 8 episode 6 spoilers: After the battles
Next week on Starz you will be seeing Outlander season 8 episode 6 officially arrive — do you want to learn more about what is ahead now?
Well, first and foremost here, let’s note that “Blessed Are the Merciful” is going to be the story that really kicks off the second part of the final chapter — and that thought alone is emotional. There are only five episodes left and through that, we imagine that there is going to be so much emotional stuff across the board. While a lot of episode 5 is about violence and alliances, episode 6 could be a chance for many of these characters to both lick their wounds and figure out their next steps.

The Frasers and the MacKenzies recover after their respective battles and consider their next steps. Ian and Rachel meet someone who they hope can help them find Emily.
As we do get further and further into this season, the intriguing thing is that we will be diving into increasingly uncharted territory for the show. There are still so many different things about the endgame here that we still do not know. There are things that book readers do not know! We are expecting it to be emotional, but that’s mostly because almost everything with the show is. We also are hopeful that almost every major character is going to get at least some moment in the sun; Jamie and Claire are a given, but it is at least nice to see that people like Ian are not being forgotten about at this point, either.
(Obviously, we would also love another spin-off to be announced before the series finale, but that is far from a sure thing.)
