Virgin River season 8 premiere date: An April 2026 update
At some point between now and the end of April, is there a chance we will get a Virgin River season 8 premiere date at Netflix? Well, let’s just start by saying that of course, it would be great to see more of Alexandra Breckenridge and the rest of the cast sooner rather than later. Season 7 raised a lot of big questions, gave us a huge cliffhanger when it comes to Brady, and of course gave us more of what we love about the show in general.
So as we do look more and more to the future here, let’s just say that this is where we have to share both the good and bad news.

Where do we start? Well, it is worth noting that Virgin River has already been renewed for another season and it is nice to not have to worry about that. There is going to be more to share on the subject of the show this month, as production is going to be starting off in a few weeks in British Columbia. That does not mean that we’re going to be learning a ton of info about what is ahead anytime soon, but we do still think it is worth noting.
Our general feeling is that we will be lucky to get a premiere date for the next season either at the end of the year or the start of next year, with the series returning in either February or March. If Netflix can figure it out, we absolutely think it benefits them to do a season of this show every single year. There are no elaborate special effects here and with that, they can easily pull this off.
